Set tone, length and proactivity company-wide, then tune them by department and seniority band. These settings change how Flo works with your team — not what it can see or which actions require confirmation.
Three settings, one question. Move any dial and watch the same situation change. These are the same three controls an admin sees in Fine-tune.
Proactivity changes what Flo notices and proposes. Access, approval and attribution stay fixed.
Proactivity on Active does not widen what Flo can see. Flo runs as the person asking and permissions are enforced in the database — if they can’t open a record, Flo can’t either.
On Active, Flo proposes and drafts supporting tasks, objectives and KPIs into the approval queue. They wait there to be accepted. Nothing is applied unprompted.
Write actions are recorded under whoever asked for them, at any dial setting. The dial changes the voice, never who is accountable for a change.
Overrides are sparse: a department or band changes only the axes you set, and inherits the rest.
The three dials, plus your business context and guidance. Every organization has one, and it starts at balanced · standard · nudge.
Executive, Lead, Senior, Mid and Junior, taken from the level on a person’s role.
Set on any department. It applies down the tree, and the department nearest the person wins.
Tone can come from the Lead band while proactivity comes from Sales.
Department > band > company.
Company, band and department guidance all carry through.
Tell Flo how your company works and the rules it should follow. Then control who can change those settings.
Give Flo enough context to understand the business behind the work — what you do, who you serve and how the company operates.
Add standing instructions that shape Flo’s advice. Departments and seniority bands can add their own without replacing the company baseline.
Only people with the right company-settings permission can view or change Fine-tune. That permission is enforced in both the application and the underlying data layer.
admin.org_settingsTone, length and proactivity can change. Permissions, approval rules and attribution don’t. The dial changes how Flo works with you — not what Flo is authorized to do.
